    Welcome to our hostel!

    We are a community of backackers and a loving, adopted dog named Chucho, with a passion for adventure, health, and wellness. This is a place for rest and rejuvenation where you can feel at home in a peaceful setting, surrounded by an abundance of trees and various ornamental and medicinal plants. We also have 2 terraces and a cozy living room with a fire place where you can enjoy the sunrise and sunset, do yoga etc. We are not a party hostel and we do not promote the use of drugs and alcohol.

    We have various connections to easily accessible adventure sports such as: rock climbing, kayaking, mountain biking, canyoneering and hiking.

    We are eco-conscious and value sustainability. Our kitchen is vegetarian only. We recycle our grey water, store rain water for future use, and have a compost that goes to the project 'Pies a La Tierra', a team in Parque del Encuentro who has an organic garden and gives workshops in Agroecology.

    We are located down the street from the Mercado de Artesanias and Mercado Viejo (the largest market in San Cristobal). We are also just a 10 minute walk from the Catedral de San Cristobal.

    Free Wifi is included, however a better quality Wifi catered to digital nomads is also available upon request for an additional fee.

    Currently, we are looking for volunteers who can stay with us for at least 2 weeks. Tasks include: welcoming guests at check in, cleaning communal areas, preparing rooms and managing check outs.
    Additionally, (as a plus) we are looking for anyone who can help us create concrete planters. We welcome anyone with experience in this area who can help us with this task.
    The work schedule for volunteers is 5 days a week, 5 hours a day. You can choose which days you would like off. In return, we offer free accommodation, breakfast and use of all the hostel facilities.

    San Cristobal is great place to explore. It is full of impressive architecture and history. There are activities every night such as: dance lessons, live music, etc. There are also many natural parks and waterfalls that you can visit in a day or two.
